1ST RESPONSE PLUMBING, INC.

Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect information—and how to reach us about your privacy choices.

Effective date: September 30, 2026

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

1st Response Plumbing, Inc. (we, us, or our) provides plumbing services and operates 247EmergencyPlumbingNearMe.com, our employee portal at app.247EmergencyPlumbingNearMe.com, and the 1st Response Plumbing mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information about website visitors, customers, property contacts, applicants, employees, and authorized technicians who use these services.

This policy covers our own handling of information. Payment providers, device platforms, social networks, and other third-party services have their own privacy notices. A separate employment notice or signed service agreement may provide additional information for a specific relationship. Reading this policy or using our website does not, by itself, enroll you in SMS messaging.

2. Information we collect

Contact and service information: names, email addresses, telephone numbers, service and billing addresses, property contact details, appointment preferences, descriptions of plumbing problems, estimates, approvals, work orders, invoices, service history, correspondence, and customer feedback you provide.

Job documentation: photographs, uploaded files, project plans, notes, signatures or approval records, and related timestamps. Photographs and field records may include location information. Please avoid including unrelated people, identification documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information in job photographs or messages.

Account and workforce information: account identifiers, roles and permissions, technician assignments, work status, travel and time entries, and account activity. Where you use our designated employment or payroll workflows, we may also collect application details, tax forms, compensation information, benefit information, and payment instructions needed for employment administration. Do not submit these records through public contact forms.

Payment information: invoice amounts, transaction references, payment status, refunds, and limited payment-method details provided by our payment providers. Payment credentials submitted through a provider's payment interface are handled by that provider. Do not send full card numbers, security codes, or PINs in email, text messages, photographs, or job notes.

Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, pages or features accessed, session information, error reports, and security or delivery logs. When you communicate with us, the communication service may supply message identifiers, delivery status, and timestamps.

3. Where information comes from

We receive information directly from you, from authorized property owners or managers and account administrators, from technicians documenting service, and from service providers supporting payments, communications, address lookup, routing, accounting, or our applications. A person providing someone else's details should have authority to do so and should provide only information needed for the service.

4. How we use information

We use information to respond to requests; schedule and dispatch service; provide job and arrival updates; prepare estimates and invoices; document approvals and completed work; process and reconcile payments; provide receipts; manage customer support; maintain accounts and access permissions; administer workforce and payroll functions; investigate errors or misuse; and maintain business, tax, and legal records.

We may use service and technical records to improve our operations and understand recurring problems. If an authorized team member uses an automated estimating or document-analysis feature, the submitted project material may be processed by the provider supporting that feature. Automated output requires human review and does not replace an approved estimate or professional assessment.

5. Mobile permissions and technician location

Depending on the feature used and your device permissions, the mobile app may access the camera or selected photographs for job documentation, location for technician travel, arrival estimates and geotagged records, and notifications for operational alerts. Location records may be associated with the technician, job, and time of the activity and made available to authorized office staff. Customers may receive an estimated arrival time for their service visit.

You can review or change app permissions in your device settings. Restricting a permission may prevent the related feature from working. Contact the office about alternative work procedures if a required field feature is unavailable. Device biometric authentication, where enabled, is handled by the operating system; we do not receive your fingerprint or face template.

6. SMS information and consent

Our operational messaging includes customer appointment and arrival updates and technician work-order, dispatch, and schedule notifications. Message frequency varies with service activity and assigned work. Message and data rates may apply. SMS participation requires consent appropriate to the message program; giving us a phone number, accepting general terms, or being added to a staff roster is not by itself consent to recurring SMS messages.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own purposes. We may provide the limited information necessary to messaging service providers and telecommunications carriers solely to deliver messages and administer the program on our behalf, or disclose information when legally required.

Consent information collected for messaging may include the mobile number, identity or account associated with the consent, the date and method of consent, the disclosure accepted, and subsequent opt-out records. Communication and suppression records help us administer preferences and investigate delivery problems. We do not treat delivery logs alone as proof of consent.

Reply STOP to the number sending the messages to unsubscribe, or contact us to request removal. You may receive one final confirmation. Reply HELP for messaging help, or call (954) 588-7957 or email 1st.responseplumb@gmail.com. Opting out of SMS does not cancel a service appointment, change an invoice, or prevent necessary communication through another agreed channel. See the SMS section of our Terms and Conditions for additional details.

7. When information is disclosed

We disclose information to authorized employees and service personnel who need it to perform their roles, and to providers supporting hosting, data storage, account authentication, email, SMS, payment processing, accounting, payroll, address and route services, or other requested functions. Providers receive information relevant to their function. For example, a technician needs the service address and job details, and a payment processor needs transaction information.

We may disclose relevant records to a property owner, manager, contractor, or other person you authorize for your project; to professional advisers; to comply with applicable law or a valid legal request; or to investigate fraud and protect people, property, and legal rights. If the business is reorganized or transferred, records may transfer subject to applicable law and the protections described here. The special restrictions on SMS consent data continue to apply; consent is not transferable for another sender's marketing.

We do not sell or rent personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing. Public reviews or other content you authorize for publication may be visible to others. Avoid including private information in material intended for publication.

8. Cookies, local storage, and external services

Our websites and apps use session technologies such as cookies and local storage to support sign-in, security, and application functions. Hosting services may collect operational logs. Browser settings can restrict cookies or clear stored data; doing so may sign you out or affect functionality.

Address lookup, payment pages, and links to services such as maps, WhatsApp, and social networks may involve separate providers. Information you enter or transmit to those services is also subject to their notices and settings. We do not use this policy to obtain consent for third-party advertising tracking.

9. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, account and employment administration, payment reconciliation, warranties, tax and accounting obligations, dispute resolution, security, and other applicable legal requirements. Retention varies by record type; closing an account does not necessarily remove invoices, payroll records, consent history, or records subject to a legal hold. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to backup cycles and legal obligations.

We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information, including account authentication and access restrictions appropriate to the system. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your credentials, keep devices updated, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

10. Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask us to review, correct, provide access to, or delete your personal information, close your account, or explain our handling of your information by emailing 1st.responseplumb@gmail.com with the subject Privacy Request or calling (954) 588-7957. Identify the account or service involved, but do not include sensitive identification or payment credentials in your initial message. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting.

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights to access, obtain a copy of, correct, delete, or restrict certain uses of information, or to appeal a decision on your request. Contact us through the same channels to exercise a right or request a review. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. Legal recordkeeping duties and the rights of other people may limit what we can provide or delete.

11. Children and service location

Our services are intended for adults and authorized business users, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and address it.

Our business serves South Florida. Our systems and providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate, subject to applicable requirements.

12. Changes and contact

We will post changes to this policy on this page and update its effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially changing how information is used. For privacy questions, contact 1st Response Plumbing, Inc. at 1st.responseplumb@gmail.com or (954) 588-7957. Office hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM Eastern Time.
